You know the phrase "you reap what you sow"? We at MUO understand that all too well so we are starting to plant some seeds. Opera Around Town, or OAT for short, is an initiative to spread opera all across the city to expose Winnipeggers to this great art form.

41 opera singers, 37 drag performers, and 10 pianists came together over eight wild concerts that won't be forgotten.

Manitoba Underground Opera was founded on Treaty 1 land, and the homeland of the Métis Nation. These lands are the traditional territories of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, and Nakota Nations. In addition, our tours extend throughout the province of Manitoba, also encompassing Treaties 2, 3, 4, and 5.
