“Next to a great forest there lived a poor woodcutter with his wife and his two children. The boy's name was Hansel and the girl's name was Gretel.” - The Brothers Grimm
You know the story: Hansel and Gretel are sent away by their mother because the family doesn’t have enough food, and they soon fall into the clutches of a wicked witch. Lush harmonies and some eye-popping projections transform the classic fairy tale into an audio-visual feast.
Directed by Jillian Willems and featuring projections designed by jaymez, this show is presented in the WAG’s Muriel Richardson Auditorium. It’s the perfect sweet treat to cap off your summer!
